| There is only 1 guesthouse on the Regina road : "Auberge des Orpailleurs", located 9 km after Cacao junction. We staid there more than one week, and it was the best guesthouse we found in French Guyana, both for the prices, rooms and food (try the tapir stew ) and the owners are sympathetic. Gugu, the owner, looks like Haddock captain (in Tintin adventures). If you don't have an alarm-clock, ask him a cockcrow at 6h00 am | ![]() |

There are 2 trails interesting to go for collecting, both day and night : Coralie trail (500 m far from the guesthouse) and Belizon trail (20 km far, towards Regina) where we collected about 20 Euchroma gigantea. We had excellent mothing at km2 and km4 on Coralie trail (non stop 6h00 pm- 6h00 am), thanks to rain and fog. |
Regina is the cillage at the end of the orad. Nothing to do nor to buy there More actions will be there when there will be a junction to Brazil (year 2000).
